This art installation, inspired by Carl Andre's minimalist sculptures, depicts the common stereotype of the desert as merely a barren landscape of sand and pyramids. This piece is intended to illicit a response that challenges this stereotyped, in that desserts, like those found the Southwest, are rich tapestry of vibrant ecosystems, showcasing an incredible array life and beauty.
